It features a built-in ESL Emulator, allowing for automatic mode switching between older and newer versions of steering lock emulators.

This testing tool enables you to evaluate the Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS/EZS) in conjunction with the car’s Electronic Steering Lock (ESL/ELV) or with the emulator when the original ESL/ELV is unavailable. The ESL Emulation mode simplifies this process.

You can perform tests on both older (Motorola-based EZS) and newer (NEC-based EIS) units without needing the vehicle. Simply connect it using the provided EIZ ELV test cables to check the EIS functionality or to verify and program keys, as well as repair the steering lock (ELV).

The latest generation of this tool includes a built-in ESL/ELV Emulator for models W204 and W207, enabling EIS testing without the original ESL/ELV (programming is required prior to testing).
