These batteries have a diameter of 16mm and a height of 1.6mm, making them ideal for small devices, the most common of which is a watch but are also seen devices including calculators and keyless entry remotes.

Coin cell batteries can be stored for up to 10 years with very low levels of charge loss. The Maxell CR1616 can be used as a replacement for the 5021LC, ECR1616, DL1616, Timex YA, Citizen 280-209 and GP GPCR1616 batteries.
