Can I Use CR2032 Instead of CR2025?

The short answer is: Yes, in most cases, you can use a CR2032 battery instead of a CR2025, but there are a few important factors to consider.

Both CR2032 and CR2025 are 3V lithium coin cell batteries with the same diameter of 20mm, but they differ in thickness:

• CR2032 is 3.2mm thick

• CR2025 is 2.5mm thick

Because of this difference, a CR2032 is slightly thicker, which means it might not fit in some devices designed specifically for CR2025.
